Sefton Park, Deva Divas and Wilmslow

By /

Eleven members participated in the Sefton Park 5-miler on a damp evening last week. Phil crossed the finish line first for the club, achieving a personal best and setting a new club record. David also made history by setting a new club record for his age group, while Steve and Sarah both achieved personal bests.
Over the weekend, a few members took on the popular Wilmslow 10K race. Thomas reached a Platinum standard, and Ian and Neil both achieved personal bests.
In addition, a group of ladies bravely entered the Deva Divas, a short distance ladies-only triathlon held in Chester with a swim in the River Dee. This was a new and challenging experience for most of them, and they all deserve recognition for their efforts. Well done to all the participants!
