Runway and Forest Park Races

By /

The club had an amazing turnout of 44 runners at the highly anticipated “Round the Runway” race near Manchester Airport. Terrance and Georgina crossed the finish line first for the club, with Georgina even taking the top spot in her age category. To top it off, we rented two buses for the runners, allowing us to celebrate at a nearby pub with delicious chip butties and drinks.

The excitement didn’t stop there! The following day, the ladies had their own race at Forest Park in Birchwood, covering a challenging 5K course. Georgina once again led the club to victory, with Gael also shining by taking first in her age category. Both Georgina and Gael achieved Gold standard, showcasing their incredible talent and dedication.

Finally, we had the second Sale Sizzler where both Thomas and Phil achieved Platinum standards and Georgina was first in her age category.

There are two weeks of results below to enjoy!
