Our club running tops were updated in 2024. The design looks great, and the fabric, fit and garment quality is a big improvement over earlier kit.

Club running tops are printed to order and are subject to minimum order quantities.

Order Window

Our club newsletter and Facebook Group will announce when the order window opens again for personalised club vests or tee shirts.

Garment Fabric & Fit

Garments are supplied and printed by Scimitar, the UK’s leading supplier of custom sportwear. The basic design AND a name personalization are printed onto the garment using an embedded print process (sublimination). This means that no part of the design will ever peel off the shirt, no matter how many times it’s washed and tumble-dried.

Note: Other club kit items – jackets, hoodies, hats etc. – are still being supplied by TopPrint and are available from our Club shop.

Important FAQs

• Do I NEED a Club Top?
  A club vest or tee shirt is required if you take part in club Cross Country teams, or run for the club under County Athletics rules – other than that, owning and/or wearing club kit is entirely optional.
  However, there are many benefits of wearing club kit – especially at competitions and events; supporters can hail you by club name; it enables recognition of fellow club runners; and it engenders a sense of we’re-in-this-together team spirit!
• Is It Still OK to Wear My Old Top?
  Yes! All previous versions of club kit remain valid. To provide continuity, the new kit is an update on existing designs -and not a radical departure.
• Why Does the Club Have to Order in Batches?
  Garments are printed to order and we are required to order them in batches of 10+.
• What Happens If I Miss the Order window?
  Order requests or payments that arrive after the order date closes cannot be accepted, sorry.
  Within each batch order, the club will include a small number of surplus unnamed tee shirts of varying sizes to be held as stock by the club. These shirts will be offered for sale to club members who miss the order deadline and who want a shirt urgently. Once purchased, they can be personalized with your name using DIY iron-on or heat-transfer lettering. Obviously, the availability of unnamed stock shirts will be extremely limited.
• Is it OK if I want to Order in the Future?
  We will re-open the order form and invite orders for the next batch later when we can – but this may not be for some months yet. The price per garment for each batch will be made clear at the time that orders open.
  We will need at least 10 garment orders to complete any batch order.
• How Do I Know What Size to Order?
  The sizing of vests and tee shirts supplied by Scimitar is described here: Scimitar Garment Sizing
  Please speak with any of the committee team if you have a particular query or requirement, we will try our best to get you an answer. It may be possible to show you a sample tee shirt or vest (M or F fit / in a particular size). However, this first batch order window is very short, and opportunities for viewing and trying-on samples will be extremely limited.
• Are Other Club Kit Items Available?
  Other club kit items such as jackets, hoodies, hats, base layers etc will continue to be supplied by TopPrint (see our Club shop).
