Race Director:

Lymm Runners organises fantastic races each year:

• The High Legh 10K (organised in partnership with the High Legh Community Association)
• The Warrington Way Ultra
• The Lymm Dickensian Day Santa Dash

Each event has their own Race Director and the role of the Director will vary according to the event.

Role Involves:

• Overall responsibility for race planning, preparation and on the day coordination.
• Chair race planning committee for the event and delegate tasks appropriately
• Prepare the budget & plan for emergencies
• Obtain required permissions / licences from authorities and police
• Attract participants through sponsorships and marketing
• Recruit & organize volunteers
