In Case of Emergency ( ICE ) and Health Information

Whether out running or just out at the shops, carrying ICE and relevant health data is a key way we can help First Aiders (including our Run Leaders or Coaches ) and the emergency services in the rare event of a medical incident.

ICE data allows nominated people to be phoned in the event of a serious incident, and your health data may help Emergency Services deal with your specific medical needs much faster.

There are many ways ICE and Health data can be kept with you so it’s available if ever needed. Lymm Runners asks ALL runners to wear a visible ICE band or tag. In addition, we recommend utilising as many ways as possible to ensure this information is always available.

All smartphones allow the storage of ICE contacts and health data that can be easily accessed from the lock screen of your phone ( It can also help someone contact you if your phone is lost )

Homemade

Simply carrying a bit of paper with your ICE data on it would be a suitable backup to an externally visible band/tag.
This could be laminated to make it last longer.
