Club Chair

The role of the club Chair(s) evolves as the club continues to grow. To provide support, and enable continuity, we adopt a three-year cycle with an Incoming  Chair, a Current Chair, and an Outgoing Chair.

Role Involves:

• Lead the committee in the best interests of the club and its members.
• Organising and chairing regular committee meetings and the Annual General Meetings (AGM).
• Recognize the legal responsibilities of the club to which the Club complies.
• Strategic planning.
• Overseeing of all Safeguarding and Welfare issues.
• External relations with other clubs/agencies.
• Liaison with Event/Race leads for support.
• General coordination across the club.
• Arranging handover or succession planning for the position.
