The mid-week Pie and Peas 5-mile race, held in Moulton, attracted nearly 40 of our members, making it a highly popular evening event known for its challenging off-road course. Thomas led the pack as the first runner home for the club, while Gael was first lady home for the club and second overall.

Notably, Gael, Tara, and David all set new club records in their respective age categories, with impressive personal bests achieved by Gael, Andrew, Tara, Neil, Andrea, Duncan, and Joanne. The ladies team of Gael, Tara, Germaine and Nicola also won the ladies teams prize.

Furthermore, we took the opportunity to celebrate Chrissie’s birthday with some champagne and cake.

The Sale Sizzler 5K Race, the final event in the series, took place on a sweltering evening where Michel crossed the finish line first for the club.
