We wrapped up the North West Sunday Cross Country season with our final race at Croxteth Park in Liverpool. It was a chilly day, but the course was much drier compared to last year, although there was still a bit of a swamp to tackle. Phil led the way for our club, with Rachel coming in as our top female runner. Shoutout to Andy for stepping up last minute to ensure our men’s team was complete, even running in his walking shoes!

Some other highlights include Michelle at the Mad Dog 10K, taking first in her age group and coming in as the second overall female finisher. And at the Alsager 5, Fiona was first home for the club, while Carolyn smashed her personal best and set a new club record for her age group.
