The second race of the North West Sunday Cross Country League took place at Beacon Fell Country Park this past Sunday. The course proved to be more challenging than the previous week, with significant elevation changes. Jonnie performed admirably, finishing in 3rd place for the club, while Rachel was the first female runner from the club to cross the finish line.
Congratulations are in order for Max, Gael, and Koen for successfully completing the New York Marathon. Both Gael and Koen achieved new club records in their respective age groups, and all three runners earned a Gold standard recognition.
Lastly, Georgina was chosen to represent the Cheshire team at the Flying Fox 10M race in Staffordshire. Congratulations to Georgina for this achievement.
