Warrington Park Run, Edinburgh Marathon and the Grand Union Canal Race (GUCR)
Johnny Smith and Sophie Anderson completed the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday. Both Sophie and Johnny achieve PBs, Johnny was about 1:22:40ish, and Sophie was 1.55.02, well done to you both.
Meanwhile Kieren completed the Grand Union Canal Race (GUCR). This is Britain’s longest, toughest, non-stop running race. The race is from the centre of Birmingham to the centre of London along the Grand Union Canal. Competitors are required to complete the 145 mile distance within the time limit of 45 hours. Kieren completed it in 37:03:00 – amazing!
