Tony Walmsley ran the Leeds Half Marathon in a time of 1:48:21 – his first half marathon for 6 years. Germaine Holmes ran Trentham 10K trail race in 49.17 and finally Georgina Walker complete in the Saint Clair vineyard half marathon in New Zealand.
She reports that the course ran through 8 vineyards, mostly private land, along two rivers and up and down forest edges, it was all trails, stones and very uneven. The scenery was inspiring and although the temperature reached 18 degrees the sun intensity was extreme. Despite that she managed a time of 1:59 minutes.
