Fantastic weather at a really lovely event, Lymm Runners had a great turnout for the Four Villages Half marathon at Helsby today.
“This was my second half marathon. My first was in 2009 when I finished in 1.51.21. Today, in a Lymm Runners vest, I finished in 1.38.03. Boom! At this rate I’ll smash the world record before I am 60.” – Mark
“I didn’t feel I’d prepared enough, but it turned out to be a brilliant course and I really enjoyed it. There were hills, yes!, but it seemed to me there were more down hills than up hills which was fabulous! …Great day :)” – Louise
