Lymm Runners membership is open to 18+ only at this time and is just £20 per year.
You also have the option of paying a further £23 per year (rate applicable for 2026/27) to become a member of England Athletics (EA), if you pay now, membership lasts until March 2027.
Membership has its benefits, none more so than you get to hang out with us lot each week! We have a large membership and this allows the club to fund several benefits for all members to enjoy, including:
You also have the option to register as a competitive athlete with England Athletics (EA). EA registration costs an additional £23 per year (rate applicable for 2026/27). We encourage club members to join EA – although this is entirely optional. EA provides members with support, advice, access to training and development, and, of course, running opportunities! If you intend to enter races that operate under England Athletics (EA) or UK Athletics (UKA) rules, you are likely to benefit from the reduced race fees available to EA/UKA members. In addition, there are some running races which Lymm Runners participate in that are only open to EA/UKA members.
Please note that you cannot hold an EA/UKA licence with more than one club at a time, although we can transfer your existing licence to Lymm Runners if you so wish. Please contact membership@lymmrunners.org.uk for the necessary details for this.
Membership fees are collected by direct debit. Annual renewals are automatic on 1 April each year.
If you decide to leave the club (we hope you won't), please email membership@lymmrunners.org.uk to let us know. You can cancel your direct debit at any time, but your membership will continue to the following 31 March. If you don't want your membership to renew please cancel your direct debit by 24 March.
Finally, if you would like to join Lymm Runners but find the membership fee prohibitive please email our membership secretary at membership@lymmrunners.org.uk, and we will try to help.
We take data privacy very seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy.
We follow England Athletics (EA) guidelines on best practice and have some basic rules that all club members must accept. Our Code of Conduct and Health & Safety Policy are based on common sense but every member must make sure they are familiar with them.
All policy documents, Club Constitution and risk assessments are available from our Policy documents page.
