There is no qualifying requirement for the Warrington Way, either for solo runners or for relay teams, but we advise all entrants to read the race rules and to consult the Race Director if they have any queries.  To enter, visit the race entry website. All entrants are emailed a run briefing about two weeks before the race, which contains full details of the arrangements for the race, both for solo and relay runners.  You are advised to read this very carefully! Race registration is from 5.30am onwards on Saturday 7th November 2015 at the Race HQ at Maple Lodge Scout Centre, May Queen Field Drive, off Pepper St,  Lymm, WA13 0JG.   There is a compulsory race briefing for ALL runners at 6.45am, and the race starts at 7.00am promptly for both solo runners and relay teams.  There is no kit check at registration, but all entrants (both solo and relay) are advised to wear suitable clothing for the weather as forecast and to carry: fully charged mobile phone; route description; compass; whistle; emergency food; first aid kit; head torch; and full waterproof cover. Entrants can withdraw from the race at any stage, but they are strongly advised only to withdraw at a staffed checkpoint if possible, where they MUST ensure they notify the checkpoint marshals.  Relay teams are responsible for organising their own transport to each checkpoint for team members, and if they withdraw they are also responsible for transporting all team members back to the start/finish at Race HQ.  Solo runners withdrawing at a staffed checkpoint will be provided with transport back to the start/finish at Race HQ though they may have to wait for transport to arrive. In the event of any emergency entrants are advised to contact the emergency services by dialling 999 first, and then when it is safe to do so to notify race HQ on (01925) 75xxxx.    Any emergency situation may also be notified to the marshals at any checkpoint.
