Our annual meeting is later this month and we would welcome your participation.
The meeting is about reporting what the club has achieved over the past 12 months, and setting some goals for the year ahead.
The club continues to grow and develop. It remains run by a volunteer committee made up from its membership. We really do need your input!
Venue: Upstairs meeting room, Spreadeagle, Lymm
Date: Wednesday March 29th
Time: 7.30 for 7.45
Format: Formal club business will last no more than 1 hour – and won’t be too formal anyway.
After that, there be free bad carb-loading (chips!) and a chance to be sociable 🙂

- Club Constitution We propose making minor changes to the club constitution wording. For this to be accepted, changes have to be adopted formally.

And this one is for the proposed document (after the edits): http://lymmrunners.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/Club-Consititution-draft3-edits.pdf

- Beginners Awards
Club Officials Vacancies
We have a number of roles becoming vacant this year:
This role is vital to the club. We know that many people are put off assuming that the role requires an accountancy or bookkeeping background; and/or that you will be left to work it out yourself; and/or that you have to be part of the club for ages. None of these are accurate. Our outgoing Treasurer will be happy to work with you to show you the ropes, you will be supported by the chairs and we will happily consider making changes that simplify the task such as investing in basic accountancy software.
- Run Scheduler – nomination received
- Female Welfare Officer – nomination received
- Beginners Lead – nomination received
- Webmaster (job share)
Webmasters look after the content and administration of our websites and social media platforms. The role has been successfully shared for a while and we need to replace one of our team.
Our Websites are created in WordPress which is easy to use. If you have an interest in any of the following please talk to us about the role and consider stepping forward: authoring content; creating or handling graphics or video; server-side site configuration & maintenance.
Also, this is not an official role or vacancy, but if anyone has any experience of bid writing (in any capacity) we could really benefit from your help – please let us know if this might be you.
This is your club and we hope you can support its annual meeting.
Please confirm whether or not you can attend – either by replying to an email that you will have received, or via the Facebook event invitation (this is so we can get chips and seating arranged accordingly!).
