Sunday Long Runs: 8.00am Lymm Library
An early morning run at a slow “long-run” pace ideal for half/full marathon runners. Running between 8’30 – 10 min mile pace depending on group. The session is usually around 10m but if you still need to run longer than the planned route, then at least you are already out and no doubt someone will join you for a few additional miles. - Stay off the road as much as possible, many Lymm roads are narrow and poorly lit. Your safety is paramount.
- Look out for each other, run in small groups with similar pace.
- Be ever aware of oncoming traffic in both directions.
- Be conscious of the slower/lesser experienced runners who need a suitable rest point.
- Welcome new faces and say hello to those you don’t know yet.
Ad-hoc runs are arranged on a casual basis between members.Use the club e-group (link-page above) to post for training partners and additional sessions.
